Typefi Sections and parent pages

All the content within a Typefi Section is placed on Adobe InDesign parent (formerly master) pages. A Typefi Section may define one or multiple parent pages. There is no limit to the number of parent pages.

During the automated page composition process, Typefi flows content onto the first parent page specified. If that page becomes overset, meaning there is more content within the Typefi Section that needs to be placed, Typefi will insert the next parent page specified in the Typefi Section Options dialog (see Assign parent pages to a Typefi Section). It can be the same parent page, repeated, or a different parent page.

Remember that every new Typefi Section always starts on a new page. So if you have a design that requires a new parent page at the end of a chapter, for example, that end piece will likely need to be its own Typefi Section.
