Typefi Writer comes in two editions: Writer for the 32-bit version of Microsft Word and Writer for the 64-bit version of Word.
If you have the 32-bit version of Microsoft Word, you must use the 32-bit version of Typefi Writer; if you have the 64-bit version of Word, you must use the 64-bit version of Writer. If you're not sure which Microsoft Office product you have, see What version of Office am I using?
To check which edition of Writer you are using:
- Open Microsoft Word.
- In the Word ribbon, click Typefi.
- In the Typefi tab, go to the Writer group on the right, and click About.
- In the About dialog, look for the words "64-bit edition". If you are using the 64-bit edition, you will see the words "64-bit edition" under Typefi Writer. If you do not see the words "64-bit edition", then you are using the 32-bit edition of Typefi Writer.
If you are currently using the 32-bit edition, and want to upgrade to the 64-bit edition, see Install Typefi Writer.
