Use Edit document properties (formerly Update PDF metadata) to modify PDF document properties and change how the PDF appears when it’s first opened. PDF document properties include information about the document and its contents—such as the author's name, keywords, and copyright information—that can be used by search utilities and assistive technologies like screen readers.
