FTP – Typefi Support

Use the FTP workflow action to upload files to a given FTP folder.

FTP

Field	Description
File	The path of the file to be uploaded. Click the Choose File icon to choose a file. Alternatively, enter the file path – for example, `path/to/target.file`.
FTP host	The FTP host address – for example, `ftp://ftp.domain.com`.
FTP port	The FTP host port – for example, `21`.
Remote folder	The path to the remote FTP folder – for example, `path/to/folder`.
Username	The username for FTP authentication.
Password	The password (plaintext) for FTP authentication.
Existing files	Decide how to handle existing files in the destination folder. Options include: Rename (default): Replaces the existing file with a new copy. It will append (-1) to the end of the file name, counting upward for as many copies are placed in that remote FTP folder. Always overwrite: Overwrites the existing file always. Overwrite if newer: Overwrites the existing file only when the file selected to be uploaded is newer.

Click the Lightning bolt icon to add a workflow variable, or placeholder, in the File, FTP host, FTP port, Remote folder, and Username fields.
