Enable MathTools

Before you can start creating and editing equations with movemen MathTools, you need to enable MathTools in InDesign.

To enable MathTools:

1. First, make sure you have a license for MathTools: In the InDesign menu bar, verify that the last option in the Math menu is not "(READER)" or "Invalid License" (this text will be greyed out).
2. If you do not see "(READER)" or "Invalid License" as the last item in the Math menu, then from the InDesign menu bar, select Math → Enable Math for Current Document. If you do see "(READER)" or "Invalid License", then your license is not activated. For instructions for how to activate a license, see Activate license.

Once you have enabled MathTools, you can create a MathZone.
