The Assemble InDesign book workflow action combines multiple InDesign document files (.indd) into an InDesign book file (.indb).
Field | Description |
---|---|
Input | The file path to one or more input InDesign documents (.indd). Click the Choose Files or Folder icon to select the InDesign file, files, or folder to be included in the book. If you have more than one InDesign file, separate each file with a comma (,). For example, /path/to/input-1.indd, /path/to/input-2.indd. |
Output | The path to the output InDesign book (.indb). Enter a name for the generated InDesign book. Alternatively, click the Choose File icon to choose an output from the pop-up menu. The default name is output-1.indb. |
InDesign Server | Choose the InDesign Server or Blinkenlights queue. |
You can also use workflow variables to specify the output field. To insert a workflow variable, click the lightning bolt icon and choose a variable from the pop-up menu.
