Choose where files are saved

You can choose where Typefi Writer saves checked out files and where Typefi Writer saves published output files. Files can be saved on your local machine or a server.

To choose where files are saved:

1. In the Typefi tab, within the Writer group, click Options.
   
2. In the Typefi Writer Options dialog, click File locations.
3. Choose a location for checked out files.
4. Choose a location for output files.
5. Click OK.

The folder location can be affected by your local computer account settings and network settings. Consult with your systems administrator in cases where you can’t select the desired output folder.
