Typefi Anchors are markers that indicate where a Typefi Element is referenced in the content. For Floating Elements, the relationship between an Element and its Anchor is defined by the Element’s layout rules.
Typefi automatically creates Anchors during the automated page composition process.
For example, a keyword note displayed in the margin of a publication that defines a keyword used in the text might have its Anchor set just after the keyword is mentioned so that the margin note lines up with the keyword.

In Typefi Writer, authors can specify where an Element is referenced in the content by inserting an Element reference.
