Typefi Elements
Typefi Elements are similar to assets stored in an InDesign Object Library. Like a Library asset, a Typefi Element is created once in the template, then reused throughout the composed InDesign layout with different content for each instance placed.
In the template, Elements are made of two parts: the Element Definition and the Element Artwork. The Definition is applied to the Artwork to link them. The Artwork that is linked to the Definition is considered the Master Element Artwork for that Element.
Typefi Element Definitions are created, configured, edited, and applied in the Typefi Elements panel.
Typefi Element Artwork
- can contain InDesign frames, drawing and line objects, Typefi Element Content Frames, Typefi Element Image Frames, and Typefi Fields.
- can be formed from a single frame or object or a group of frames and/or objects.
- can use Typefi AutoFit relationships and attributes.
Typefi Elements can be Fixed, Inline, or Floating.
