Typefi Cloud 8.8 browser requirements

We recommend all Typefi users skip Server 8.8—instead, upgrade from Server 8.7 (or earlier) to Server 8.9. For more details, please visit the FAQ for Typefi Server 8.9.

Typefi Server for Cloud (Typefi Cloud) is a browser-based software that can run on all full-desktop operating systems (e.g. macOS, Windows, Linux) and Chrome OS.

Applicable for: Typefi Cloud Bronze 8.8 and Typefi Cloud Gold 8.8

Browsers and operating systems

The minimum browser requirements are:

  • Chrome 64+
  • Firefox 78+
  • Safari 13+
  • Microsoft Edge 79+

The minimum operating system (OS) requirements are:

  • Windows 10 or later
  • macOS (Big Sur) or later
  • Any Chrome OS that supports the browsers mentioned above

Adobe InDesign and InDesign Server

Typefi Cloud Gold

The supported InDesign and InDesign Server versions are:

  • InDesign and InDesign Server 2023 (v18)
  • InDesign and InDesign Server 2022 (v17)
  • InDesign and InDesign Server 2021 (v16)

Typefi Cloud Gold supports InDesign Server releases on a rolling, three major version schedule, with a 90-day transition period before discontinuing an InDesign Server release.

Typefi Cloud Bronze

The supported InDesign and InDesign Server versions are:

  • InDesign and InDesign Server 2023 (v18)
  • InDesign and InDesign Server 2022 (v17)

Typefi Cloud Bronze supports InDesign Server releases on a rolling, two major version schedule, with a 90-day transition period before discontinuing an InDesign Server release.
