This article applies only to Typefi Workgroup and Typefi Cloud (8.7.4 or later).
In Typefi Server, you can set up a primary and secondary LDAP domain. If the primary LDAP server does not respond to a request for authentication, the secondary LDAP server would then be contacted.
The ability to configure two LDAP directories means you can keep your directories clean and separate. You can configure one directory to authenticate your own users and another directory to authenticate external users.
Prerequisites
- You can sign into Typefi Server as an administrator.
Set up LDAP domains
To set up an LDAP domain (primary or secondary):
- Sign into Typefi Server as an administrator.
- Go to Admin → LDAP.
- Enter the settings for your primary and (optional) secondary LDAP servers.
- Click Save.
- Click Import/export certificates to manage certificates. The certificates imported here added to Typefi Server’s trusted keystone.
