If at any stage you want to change an Element’s image link, content, or Field values, you can edit
the Element.
To edit an Element:
- Double-click the ELEMENT marker.
- In the Edit Element dialogue, click the component you’d like to edit (for example, click Image if you want to change the image link).
- Make the changes, and then click Close (x) to return to the Word document.
If you know in advance that you’d like to edit a particular component of the Element, double-click that component marker within the ELEMENT marker. The Edit Element dialogue will open with the correct component already selected in the Element structure.
Alternatively, you can use the Document Explorer:
- In the Typefi tab within the Tools group, click Explore Document.
- In the Typefi Document Explorer, select the Element and click Edit. Alternatively, you can locate the component within the Element Structure and select that first, then click Edit.
- In the Edit Element dialogue, click the component you’d like to edit (for example, click Image if you want to change the image link).
- Make the changes, and then click Close (x).
- In the Typefi Document Explorer, click Close (x) to return to the Word document.
