The Import IDML workflow action transforms an IDML (InDesign Markup Language) file that was previously generated by Typefi Server 8.5 and later into Content XML.
An IDML file is an Adobe InDesign document represented in an XML format. Typefi can automatically generate IDML files for you with the Export to IDML workflow action from the Adobe InDesign plug-in. Since IDML is a representation of XML, Typefi can leverage the power of XML and transform IDML into Content XML as part of an automated publishing workflow.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Input | Choose the Typefi generated IDML file that you want to transform into a Content XML file. |
Output | Enter the name for the generated Content XML file. |
Pretty print output | Select the Pretty print output checkbox if you want the output to be pretty printed. Pretty print output is selected by default, which means the Content XML will be indented, and a whiteSpaceMode of strict applied. When deselected, the Content XML will not be indented, and a whiteSpaceMode of preserve applied. |
