Transfer or deactivate your Typefitter license

A single license for Typefitter can be activated on up to two computers used exclusively by the same person. To use Typefitter on a third computer (for example, if your work computer is being serviced and you have a loaner), deactivate Typefitter on the computer on which you no longer want to use Typefitter. Then, activate Typefitter on your new computer.

To transfer or deactivate your Typefitter license:

From InDesign's Help menu, select Deactivate Typefitter (Help → Typefi → Typefitter → Deactivate Typefitter) to deactivate Typefitter. 

When you are ready to re-activate Typefitter on your original computer (from InDesign's Help menu, select Activate Typefitter (Help → Typefi → Typefitter → Activate), don't forget to deactivate it from the loaner. Failure to do so may result in abuse of your license, which will result in it being blocked for future use!

If you can't access your old computer (for example, it was lost, damaged, or stolen), don't worry. We can help. Just provide us with the email you used to subscribe or any other identifying information (order number or serial number).
