Rename a Typefi Field

To rename a Typefi Field:

1. Open the Typefi Fields panel (Window → Typefi → Fields).
2. Select the Field name in the panel.
3. Choose Field Options from the panel menu; or, double-click the Field name when no text is selected.
   
   The Typefi Field Options dialogue appears.
4. In the Typefi Field Options dialogue, enter a unique Name and click OK.
   
   The new Field name appears in the panel.

Alternatively, locate a text frame in your Adobe InDesign document that references the Field and place the type cursor anywhere between the Field Markers (indicated with red square brackets), then double-click the highlighted Field name in the Typefi Fields panel to access the Typefi Field Options dialogue and change the name.

Renaming a Tyepfi Field updates the Field name listed in the Typefi Fields panel, but not the text that is listed between the opening and closing Field Markers (indicated with red square brackets). To alter this text, you must edit it manually.
