Insert a footnote

Typefi Writer doesn't change the way you would typically insert a footnote in Microsoft Word.

When you insert a footnote in Word, Word automatically applies the Footnote Reference style to the footnote in-text reference and the Footnote Text style to the footnote text.

During the automated page composition process, Word footnotes are automatically converted to Adobe InDesign footnotes.

To avoid missing style errors during composition, make sure the Typefi-ready template includes a character style named Footnote Reference and a paragraph style named Footnote Text.
