Convert tags to text and text to tags

By default, Typefi Writer markup is displayed as tags. Tags are also referred to as fields. They look like this:

However, you can convert these fields to regular text:

To convert Typefi tags to text or text to tags:

1. In the Typefi tab, within the Tools group, click Tags.
   
2. Choose either Convert Tags to Text or Convert Text to Tags.

One of the benefits of converting Typefi tags to regular text is interoperability between word processors. However, it must be converted back to Typefi tags before the document can be published through a Typefi workflow.
