Show or hide Field Codes

Typefi markup is made up of different Field Codes, which offer a behind-the-scenes look into Typefi tags. Field Codes are hidden by default, but you can toggle them on and off. It’s a little daunting to look at a Microsoft Word document marked up with Field Codes, and you shouldn’t attempt to edit the code manually.

To show or hide Field Codes:

1. In the Typefi tab, within the Tools group, click Tags.
   
2. Click Show/hide Field Codes to toggle Field Codes on or off.

When Field Codes are displayed you will not be able to edit Typefi components by double-clicking them.
