Take a look at our newest release of the Typefi Connector, now available with support for Adobe Experience Manager Guides 4.2.

Improvements

• With the latest update, the Typefi Connector replaces the input value for the Run Ant Buildfile action. Once you choose a .ditamap file in the Run Typefi job panel, the Typefi Connector automatically sends the input value to the Run Ant Buildfile action. You don’t have to worry about manually adding the source file anymore.
• Typefi Connector 2 now remembers your latest workflow by default. This means you no longer need to select a workflow each time you run a job in the Run Typefi job panel.
• When you select the Attach Workflow path in the Run Typefi job panel, the Typefi Connector automatically updates your Typefi Server file changes. This ends the need to refresh changes by closing the panel.

Fixes

• In the Jobs panel, clicking Close after a job completes no longer redirects you to an invalid URL with the error: “A custom errorhandler for 404 responses”.
• After completing a job, the bookmap and chapter elements in the source .ditamap file no longer appear after </bookmap>and </bookmeta>elements.

We recommend uninstalling and deleting Typefi Connector (v1.x.x) before installing Typefi Connector 2. The content stored in Typefi Server and in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) won’t be affected by removing Typefi Connector (v1.x.x).
