Streamline the editing process with Typefi XML web authoring
With Typefi Server v8.11 (or later), you can license Typefi XML web authoring integrations and access editing features and important Typefi functions—directly in the XML web authoring environment—ending the need to download files and use separate software to edit your DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) XML files.
XML web authoring with Typefi Server v8.11 (or later) allows you to:
- live-edit your XML documents (with either a word processing view or edit raw XML code),
- maintain version control,
- add comments for other team members to review,
- attach or detach Typefi workflows, and
- publish Typefi jobs.
Which online XML web authoring tools integrate with Typefi?
Typefi Server v8.11 (or later) integrates with partners Fonto and Syncro Soft, which offer user-friendly XML editing interfaces to streamline the creation and editing processes for structured content. In addition to using Typefi XML Web Authoring to create and edit DITA XML structured content, you can also attach workflows and publish Typefi jobs within Fonto Editor and Oxygen XML Web Author.

Typefi Server’s integration with Oxygen XML Web Author (v25.0.1) is currently only compatible with 64-bit Windows operating systems. We are evaluating the support of Oxygen XML Web Author on macOS. Please refer to the Typefi Server known issues article for more details.
