The Validate links workflow action checks a Content XML file for missing file links.

The Validate links workflow action is a Typefi server-side validation that checks within the Typefi filestore for missing links; it does not validate external file links. If a Content XML file contains a remote (http:// or https://) media link, the job log shows a message telling you to use a local file instead, since InDesign Server can't place remote links.
