Typefi Server compatibility with InDesign

Adobe introduced critical bugs in both the December 2025 (v21.1) and January 2026 (v21.2) InDesign 2026 updates that break compatibility with InDesign Server 2026. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you wait for v21.3 (or later) before upgrading any Typefi workflows to InDesign Server 2026. Typefi Cloud Teams

Typefi Cloud Teams (formerly Cloud Bronze) is a shared tenant automated publishing subscription service that provides access to the latest releases of Typefi (including Typefi Designer, Typefi Writer, and Typefitter), and Adobe InDesign Server software. Cloud Teams follows a continuous service and support policy through non-security and security updates, new product builds (both Typefi and Adobe), and access to online content through Zendesk and online support. Upgrades are scheduled in advance and managed for all Typefi Cloud Teams organisations, with notifications sent to your tech rep two weeks before each upgrade.

Typefi Cloud Teams upgrade schedule

Typefi Cloud Teams upgrades are scheduled for the following dates:

• March 2026
• June 2026
• August 2026
• November 2026

*Typefi Cloud Teams supports Adobe InDesign Server releases on a rolling, two major version schedule, with a 90 day transition period before an InDesign Server release is discontinued.

Typefi Cloud Enterprise

Typefi Cloud Enterprise (formerly Cloud Gold) is a fully managed, single-tenant, Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. Typefi Cloud Enterprise supports the three latest releases of Adobe InDesign Server with new releases supported within 90 days of their general availability. Typefi Cloud Enterprise requires a separate Adobe InDesign Server license.

Typefi Server for Workgroup and Typefi Server for Desktop

Typefi Server for Workgroup and Typefi Server for Desktop are on-premises automated publishing solutions for teams (Workgroup) and single-users (Desktop). Both Typefi Workgroup and Desktop support the three latest releases of Adobe InDesign Server with new releases added within 90 days of their general availability.
