Typefi now supports Adobe InDesign 2023 🎉

We're kicking off the new year with a bunch of new releases; Typefi Server 8.8, Typefi Designer 8.9, Typefi AutoFit 8.9 and Typefitter Server 5.3 are available now!

These releases introduce support for Adobe InDesign 2023 (v18), and retire support for Adobe InDesign CC 2020 (v15)*.

These releases include other helpful improvements and a bevy of bug fixes, so make sure you check out the latest release notes for all the details.

Defining parent-child relationships just got easier

Remove the guesswork with AutoFit Smart Guides, new in Typefi Designer 8.9

A new, click-and-drag method displays a dashed line while you define the child anchor so you can easily see where you're going. Not only that, but if your mouse pointer is within the snapping tolerance of an anchor point, your dashed line will also snap to the anchor point! Smart Guides are on by default.

*Typefi Cloud Bronze

Typefi Cloud Bronze will be upgraded to Typefi Server version 8.8 on 30 January 2023 to add support for Adobe InDesign Server 2023 (v18). Adobe InDesign 2021 (v16) will be retired on 30 April 2023. For more detail, view this Typefi Cloud 8.8 compatibility article. Typefi Cloud Bronze customers have been sent an email notification with details of this upgrade.
