Typefi enters the Hall of Fame!

Typefi was inducted into the Sunshine Coast Business Awards Hall of Fame at the 2018 awards gala on 17 November, alongside Australia Zoo and The Compass Institute.

Typefi has previously won Sunshine Coast Business Awards in 2015 (Technology and Excellence in Innovation), 2016 (Excellence in Export), and 2017 (Technology).

Ben Hauser, Vice President Engineering, who has been part of Typefi’s Sunshine Coast team since joining as a software engineer in 2003, said it is a great honour for Typefi to have been recognised by the local business community in recent years.

“Being inducted into the Hall of Fame really does mean a lot to us. We were founded here in 2001 and have had offices in Sippy Downs, Peregian Beach, and now Maroochydore,” Ben said.

“We’ve spread globally, with people in 65 countries around the world using Typefi’s software, but we’re still a proud Sunshine Coast company through and through.”

Ben also thanked Typefi’s global team, whose members are based in the US, UK, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Romania, France, and South Africa.

“The staff make the company what it is, they’re amazing,” he said.
