Typefi named as a finalist in the 2017 Queensland Export Awards
Typefi has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Small Business category of the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards for the second year running.
The annual Export Awards program celebrates business excellence in international trade. Typefi was successful in winning both the Premier of Queensland’s Export Award for Small Business and the 54th Australian Export Award for Small Business in 2016.
Lisa McAuley, Chief Executive Officer of the Export Council of Australia, said that “the competition is extremely tough” in 2017, with a diverse range of companies entering the Awards.
“The Queensland Export Awards are about rewarding businesses that have shown a commitment and determination to grow their global business and who, against adversity, seek new innovative ways to compete on the international stage,” she said.
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 19 October 2017, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, with both the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland and Minister for the Arts, and the Honourable Curtis Pitt, Queensland Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment, as guests of honour.
The Typefi team extends its congratulations to all the other outstanding Queensland companies named as finalists, and is looking forward to the awards ceremony!
