* Apple does not publish a lifecycle policy for macOS. Instead, support for macOS is linked to the Mac hardware, which is supported for 5 years after the product is no longer manufactured (see Vintage and obsolete products). Apple security updates are generally only provided for the current version of macOS and two previous versions (see Apple security updates). Typefi supports macOS releases on a rolling, three major version, schedule.
