A Typefi Project Field is a text field where the value remains the same across all pages and sections of a publication. Project Fields are commonly used for inserting project-level content, such as the document title, subtitle, author, publisher, copyright, or International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
If your publication includes any Project Fields, the layout designer must create them in the Typefi-ready template.
To set or update a Project Field's value in Typefi Writer:
- In the Typefi tab, within the Document group, click Fields.
- In the Fields dialogue, enter the value for each Field.
- Click OK.
TIP You can also set a Project Field's value via the Edit metadata workflow action. Or, you can use an XSLT, but only if the Project Field value can be derived from the source file.
