You can replace an inline image with a different image, and you can update the comment (alternative text) at any time.
To delete an inline image:
- Double-click the IMAGE: marker in the Word document.
TIP If you see a preview of the image instead of the IMAGE: marker, deselect Show previews of linked media (Writer → Options → Appearance). - In the Edit Image dialogue, click Delete.
- In the Delete Image dialogue, click OK to confirm the deletion.
Alternatively, you can use the Document Explorer:
- In the Typefi tab within the Tools group, click Explore Document.
- In the Typefi Document Explorer, select the image and click Delete.
Alternatively, click Categories → Images to select the image, then click Delete. - In the Edit Image dialogue, click Delete.
- In the Delete Image dialogue, click OK to confirm the deletion.
- In the Typefi Document Explorer, click Close (x) to return to the Word document.
