In a paginated Adobe InDesign document that contains placed Typefi Elements, you can display the relationship between an Element and its Typefi Anchor.
To display an Anchor:
- Make sure Adobe InDesign is in Normal view (View → Screen Mode → Normal). Anchors are not visible in Preview mode.
- Select View → Typefi Extras → Show Element Anchors.
Anchors are also displayed in the Story Editor (Edit → Edit in Story Editor), using the same icon InDesign uses to display anchored objects .
For Fixed and Floating Elements, the Story Editor displays a single Anchor icon.
For Inline Elements, the Story Editor displays two Anchor icons: the first anchor is the Typefi Anchor, which indicates where a Typefi Element is referenced in the text, and the second anchor represents the inline object itself. NOTE Deleting the Typefi Anchor (the first one) leaves the Element artwork in place, but it loses its reference to Typefi. Deleting the anchor that represents the inline object (the second one) deletes the Element and both anchors.
