Typefitter activations for desktop or server may experience the following error message when the activation limit for the LicenseID has been reached:
A call to a Web Service succeeded, but the functionality of the Web Service returned an indicator of failure.
Each Typefitter user is allowed two activations of their own devices. Customers experiencing this error may do the following:
- Deactivate the existing installation bringing down the total number of devices to "2" per LicenseID. This is done from the Typefitter menu in Adobe InDesign.
- Visit https://www.typefi.com/typefitter/ and purchase an additional license of Typefitter.
- Contact our support via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, and request that the activation limit be increased to allow for an additional activation if unable to license a second device (or migrate the first license to another device).
