To add content to an adoption:
- Select Adoptions in the main menu at the top of the screen. If you don't have Administrator privileges, this will be the only menu item available.
- In your list of In progress adoptions, select the standard you want to update with your local content.
Selecting the standard will take you to the ISO tab, which contains information about your adoption. From here, you can customise content in the Metadata tab and in any other template sections that your administrator has set up.
Customise content in the Metadata tab
Your organisation's administrator controls which metadata fields you can update with localised content and which are automatically filled from your ISO ZIP file. Fields that are automatically filled are highlighted yellow and contain an [Autofill] annotation on the right.
To change the content of a metadata field, simply type directly into the field. Once you have updated the metadata fields, click Save.
Customise content in template sections
If your adoption template contains additional template sections for custom front and back matter, they will appear as tabs within your adoption. In this example, there are two additional template sections available: Preface and Foreword.
To customise the content, simply select the section you wish to update, and type or paste your content into the text editor. The editor offers some basic formatting functions such as bold, italic, Heading 1, numbered lists, bulleted lists, and hyperlinks. Once you have finished adding content to the template section, select Save.
