All the content within a Typefi Section will be placed on the master pages selected in the Typefi Section configuration for that Section. You can use as many master pages as you like in a Typefi Section. The engine will flow content onto the first master page specified. If that page becomes overset, meaning there is more Section content to be placed, the engine will insert the next master page specified in the Section configuration. It can be the same master page, repeated, or it can be a different master page.
Remember that during pagination, every new Typefi Section always starts on a new page, so if you have a design that requires a new master page at the end of a chapter, for example, that end piece will likely need to be its own Typefi Section.
All the master pages in your template are available to be used in a Typefi Section configuration. They will be listed in the Master pop-up menu in the order in which they appear in the Pages panel.
When you create a new Section, the first master page in the Master pop-up list will be selected by default.
Select the master page to use for the first page of the Section. If, after that page is filled with content, you want the same master to be used for the next page, check Repeat Last Master.
If you want a different master to be used for the next page, click the Add Master button and choose the next master.
You can remove a master from the configuration by selecting it and clicking the trash button next to the Add Master button.
